Limitation of FUE procedure

Any surgery procedure always has some unfavourable consequences. Some limitations of the procedure are:

  • Visible scars: Numerous tiny scars can be seen on the head which are caused due to the incisions made on the donor area. But this is not a problem as the growth of hair covers it up.
  • After effects: Post-surgery, minor effects such as numbness, bleeding, itching of the operated scalp usually occur.
  • Infection: The newly transplanted area may get inflamed if it gets infected.
  • Patients may experience temporary hair loss but there is nothing to worry about as the hair will re grow within 6 months.
  • This procedure doesn’t aim to serve complete baldness. In order to receive a hair transplant, some areas of the head need to have dense hair population.
